List of DS games that play on 2DS
Hey guys ! I merely bought a 2DS panel and a friend of mine gave me the New Super Mario Bros that does non play on my 2DS. 2DS is 3DS without the 3d, right ? Is there a unlike list of DS games that are compatible on 2DS ? Considering in that location are not many post almost 2DS on the internet. On the other side Pokemon Black Version ii that came with the console plays fine. Lamentable for my bad english and if i 've asked something too noobish :P :)

2DS should be able to play whatever and all DS cartridges, granted you take a game from the correct region.

My 3DSXL really has an issue reading DS carts for some reason. Only my Xl. It took me multiple tries to get it to read my Chrono Trigger cart. Pokemon SS didn't work either.
Not a problem with the cart as my original 3DS read them both instantly. Tin can't really an issue with the slot, since they read my 3DS games perfectly. I have no idea what's going on.

The just possible exception I can think of would exist those games like LOZ:PH that require yous to close the ds and open up information technology again. I practice not have a 2DS so I wouldn't know of any incompatibilities. Also unless the 3ds implements information technology for the erstwhile ds software, IIRC the ds was region free, so all regions should work.

Actually for puzzles similar that, you merely have to put it in sleep mode, then back on. I retrieve reading on that about A Link Between Worlds.

As others have said, nearly all standard DS games can play on any 3DS (and 2DS) system. More often than not speaking, the simply games that can cause a problem are games that crave special peripherals or DSi-enhanced games. It is indeed possible that information technology is a bootleg copy, just information technology could also simply be broken. Can you endeavour playing the game on other hardware, similar a 3DS or DS?

Unfortunately no, but i volition try to find someone with one, so i can sort things out. The matter that problems me the virtually is that both Pokemon and Mario are DS'south games which are both bought officialy.

All DS games should piece of work on 2DS and 3DS, with the exception for a few games that used the GBA slot in the early on DS era, but those are not common. Only ones I know of are Metroid Pinball and that Guitar Hero one.

By any chance, was the copy of NSMB from China? Chinese DS's (as well chosen iQue DS) are region locked, different every single other country out in that location. (I'm also assuming you're referring to the first NSMB game, non the sequel on 3DS).
DS carts are non region-locked and should ever work. 3DS games are region-locked and will only work with consoles from the same region.

So, i am from Greece, my console is from the official greek distributor which i think belongs to the European union region. Both games are on the European union. Pokemon'southward rating is pegi 3, unfortunately there is no case for the Mario cartridge only on the card the 3 last letters are EUR.
